After a huge success last year, Seattle Dances! is coming back bigger than ever! Seattle Dances! is a festive dinner, auction and local celebrity dance competition that benefits Plymouth Housing Group. It’s Seattle’s own version of Dancing with the Stars on Saturday, March 3.
The evening, at Seattle’s Fremont Studios, begins at 5:30pm with hors d’oeuvres and champagne, and a raffle for the Mirror Ball, Golden Shoe-In (50 Nordstrom designer shoes) and other silent auction items.
At 7:00pm, there’s an elegant four-course dinner served with select wines. At 8:00pm, the dance competition will begin with eight local “celebrities” and their dance partners from Century Ballroom will wow you and try to win the coveted Mirror Ball trophy!
Then at 10:00pm, it’s time for you to strut your stuff on the dance floor with Shelley & the Curves performing live!

Cheer on your favorite dancer from home. Unfortunately, you cannot also vote from home. You must either vote online by midnight on Friday, March 2, or buy tickets to attend the event.
The whole event is to benefit Seattle’s Plymouth Housing. They provide permanent, supportive homes for people who have a long history of homelessness and who face complex barriers to accessing and maintaining housing. Plymouth provides homes for almost 1,000 formerly-homeless people in 12 residential apartment buildings in or near downtown Seattle.
Tickets are available online HERE and are $250/person. You can also cast your vote for your favorite dancing couple online, and make a donation in increments of $10 to Plymouth Housing directly.
